Christy Newquist lives and works in Mandalay Shores and her surrounding Beach and Harbor area. She and her family have owned property in the Oxnard beach area since 1967. Christy calls the beach home and takes advantage of the beautiful sunsets and everything this resort like community has to offer. Before venturing into real estate sales, Christy was a special effects, makeup artist in the film industry, and won several awards, including an Emmy award for outstanding individual achievement in make up for a miniseries special and an Emmy award for outstanding achievement and technical crafts in children’s programming.
